

The IDF Corona Virus Laboratory opened Tuesday at the Tzrifin Military Rabbinate in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
The lab could test hundreds of corona samples a day to be assembled by dedicated mobile teams made up of military, logistics and medical personnel.
For the purpose of operating the lab, a dedicated branch is established at the heart of the heart, to which servants with symptoms may require examination.
The move is part of the IDF’s preparations for the Corona virus and the steps taken by the medical corps and the military rabbinate to maintain the functional continuity and operational competence of the IDF, as well as part of the national assistance that the IDF currently provides to the civilian health system.
Chief Medical Officer Brigadier General Dr Trif Bader noted, “We are proud of the strenuous work that has been done to convert the DNA lab into a lab capable of detecting the corona virus thanks to the strenuous work of the corps professionals. This move makes a significant contribution to the ability of the Medical Corps to respond to IDF positions in the midst of this epidemic as well as contributes to the IDF’s skills. ”
Chief Military Rabbi Brigadier General Eyal Crim added, “The military rabbinate is the body that routinely and emergency trusts on the treatment of space and including on precise identifications. As part of this, the DNA lab at the military rabbinate base was established as an advanced complement to the existing means. For the conversion of the laboratory and the mechanization to identify the corona virus, we will continue to assist in any task required during these complex days. ”
