NORMAL MOTORS – The third generation of the SUV media has been unveiled at the end of 2019 Ford Kuga (now 462 cm long) takes up the style inaugurated by the new Focus, with which it shares many components. The Kuga 2020 can already be ordered with prices starting from 28,750 euros: so much does the 1.5 EcoBoost version with the 150 HP turbo petrol engine and the 6-speed manual gearbox. At 29,750 euros there is the Kuga 1.5 EcoBlue, with the 120 HP turbodiesel and the 6-speed manual transmission (the 8-speed automatic is an extra for 2,000 euros), while the 190 Eco 2.0 EcoBlue costs 40,500 with the 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard (it is the only version available).

OR ELECTRIFIED – La Ford Kuga it is also available with two different hybrid engines, both with front-wheel drive only. The first is a light hybrid based on the 150 HP 2.0 EcoBlue diesel with manual transmission, which costs 32,000 euros. The second is a more sophisticated engine plug-in hybrid (the same as Mondeo), which combines a 2.5 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor and Cvt gearbox: the total power is 224 HP, the batteries are rechargeable from the home’s mains and allows distances of over 50 km in solo mode electricity. The prices of the 2.5 Plu In Hybrid version start from 38,250 euros. At this stage of sale, a discount of € 4,000 is applied to all Kugas.

LE TITANIUM – The layouts available for the Ford Kuga are the Titanium and the ST Line X, which for the same engine costs 3,750 euros more. For the Kugas Titanium 17 “alloy wheels are standard, the dual zone automatic” climate “, the keyless access system, the selector for the 5 driving modes, the front and rear distance sensors, the wireless charging for smartphones and the 8 ”touch screen in the console, in addition to the automatic braking with anti-investment function for pedestrians and cyclists, the system for keeping in lane and the one that reproduces the road signs in the dashboard.

THE ST LINE X – Le Ford Kuga under construction ST Line X they also have 18 “wheels, LED headlights, tinted windows, suspension and sports moldings, but also the B&O audio system with 10 speakers (4 more than that for the Titanium) and the digital dashboard. Also included in the price are the led fog lights and the system that suggests the driver to stop in case he perceives signs of sleep.

THE OPTIONALS – For all Ford Kuga, the 19 “or 20” wheels (750 or 1,250 euros), the pastel, metallic or premium paints (550, 750 or 1,100 euros), the sunroof in glass (1,550 euros) and some packages of accessories are paid separately : the Co-Pilot, at 1,000 euros, offers the adaptive speed regulator with stop and restart function in traffic, the monitoring of the blind spot in the mirrors and the parking aid system, while the Technology (1,500 euros) is equipped with of intelligent led headlights and head up display.
