TIM, after today’s launch of the exclusive promo for Disney +, is preparing other news related to the world of fixed network, which will be launched from next week. The news will mainly concern the world of Smart Home, of the wireless FWA offers and the convergence of TIM Unica with a new discount.
As for the world of Smart Home, starting from 30 March 2020 TIM will go to complete the TIM Unica convergence concept, which according to the operator’s idea can combine in the same invoice as well as fixed, mobile and TV also devices to make the home “smart”.
In particular from 30 March 2020 TIM will propose to all its customers the purchase of the Google Nest Mini smart speaker, which includes the Google Assistant with the related voice commands. To use the product you will need to have a Wi-Fi network with Internet connection and download the Google Home app available for Android and iOS.
Google Nest Mini can be purchased from all TIM customers in one solution at the cost of 49.90 euros (instead of 59.90 euros of the list price), while only for fixed network customers TIM will be possible purchase in installments with a charge on your invoice.
In this case the cost will be equal to 1 euro per month in 48 monthly installments. In the event of termination of the fixed line, the TIM customer will be required to pay the remaining installments of the product. The purchase can be made in TIM stores, online or through 187, with free delivery.
In addition to the new Google Nest Mini, it will be possible from 30 March 2020 buy in installments with charge in TIM fixed network bill also Apple Air Pods for 3.90 euros per month for 48 months, AVM Fritz! Repeater 2400 for 1.90 euros per month for 48 months and many other products. From 30 March 2020, the collection of these installment products can also take place in the shop.
Always in the field Smart Home, will continue until May 24, 2020, subject to changes, the promo on the Smart Home option, which allows all TIM Super customers in FTTC and FTTH to use it free for 6 months if it was chosen as an additional option, while later it will be renewed in 5 euros per month. Smart Home provides 2 TIM Cam Wi-Fi to remotely control your home, via the IoTIM app, with assistance and maintenance service included.
These options for home automation can then be added to TIM fixed network offers, in particular to the main range of offers called New TIM Superthat is Super Fiber (FTTH), Super Mega (FTTC) and Super ADSL, with prices starting from 29.90 euros per month, respecting though some conditions.
These offers have been again extended without changes until 24 May 2020, and basically include unlimited internet with maximum free speed included (for FTTC and FTTH), calls to consumption (19 euro cents per minute with a connection fee of 19 euro cents), TIM modem included at 5 euros per month for 48 months (active option by default, unless otherwise indicated) e TIMVISION “basic” version included.
It will still be available too discount of 5 euros per month which is recognized to all new customers New TIM Super that will simultaneously activate bank domiciliation.
If you don’t choose to buy the modem (mainly possible in stores) one of the can be activated additional options free indefinitely: Safe Web Plus, Smart Home, Voice option (unlimited calls) or TIM Flexy (90 euro cents more).
It was already extended also online promo on TIM Super offers, which will be available again until 24 May 2020, subject to changes, on the operator’s website (here is the direct link) and expects modem and unlimited calls included at 29.90 euros per month.
Other fixed network offers, such as TIM Flexy, the offers ADSL Internet Without Limits, Internet Play is Superinternet and the offer only landline All Superspecial Voice in promotion a 18.50 euros per month in case of passage from another operator.

There will be instead several changes on fixed network offers in technology Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) proposed by TIM.
For example, starting from 29 March 2020 the TIM Super FWA offer will change, which unlike TIM Internet FWA also includes the possibility of making calls in addition to the internet connection. The offer also includes TIMVISION base.
Until now, with the promotion available from launch and until March 28, 2020, TIM Super FWA includes unlimited calls included at promotional cost of 24.90 euros per monthinstead of 29.90 euros.
However, from March 29, 2020 the promotional price of 24.90 euros per month will remain unchanged but unlimited calls will no longer be included, which will be instead rate according to consumption at a cost of 19 euro cents per minute with a connection fee of 19 euro cents. That way, if you want add unlimited calls to national fixed and mobile it will be necessary to request the Voice option at a cost of 5 euros more per month.
In addition, always from 29 March 2020, subject to any changes, for TIM Super FWA one will also be available promotion for those who activate the wireless offer with bank domiciliation, thanks to which it will have a promotional cost of 19.90 euros per month.
Instead, the offer for wireless connectivity from home TIM Internet FWA, which includes only internet connection without calls, starting from 1st April 2020 will no longer benefit from the current promotion at a cost of € 19.90 per month. Indeed, from that date will return to the standard cost of 24.90 euros per month.
Both TIM FWA offers, which should be activated under the conditions just described until 24 May 2020subject to changes, they provide a bundle from 200 Giga per month (With speeds up to 30 Mbps for download and up to 3 Mbps for upload) of data traffic. However, at the end of the 200 Giga you continue to surf at reduced speed, i.e. at 1 Mbps.
These types of offers use a connection FWA in Mixed Fiber Radio technology, with optic fiber to the Radio Base Station (called BTS) and final stretch on LTE mobile network, consequently the connection from the BTS to the customer is made through mobile network 4G or 4G + by TIM.
For both offers a will be provided modem TIM FWA in free loan, and are expected two variants: one “Indoor” that provides only one self-installing indoor unit, without intervention of the technician, where both the SIM for signal reception and the router to connect their devices will be included; a “Outdoor” which includes a kit consisting of an external unit, where the SIM Card, and by one unit internal connected via LAN cable to the outdoor unit, allowing the customer to connect their devices.
In case you choose the kit with external unit, is provided home installation by a TIM specialist. About this, from 1st April 2020 the promo on the installation will no longer be available for 99 euros, which will instead return to cost of 99 euros one-off or payable in installments in 24 installments of 4.13 euros per month.
Remember that starting from today, 24 March 2020, with all the offers TIM Super (also FWA) and for i already customers landline is available promotion for the option Disney world +, which allows you to get Disney’s new video streaming service in free promotion for the first 3 months, then to promotional cost of 3 euros per month instead of € 11.90 (TIMVISION Plus service included at no additional cost).
The Disney + promotion for TIM customers just described will be activated until 24 May 2020, unless extended.
Finally, there will also be one Announcements for the convergence mechanism TIM Unica, especially for i TIM customers who only have a mobile network offer.
If so far the convergence of TIM Unica only allows you to get the advantage of Unlimited giga for mobile network offers associated with the TIM fixed line, starting from 30 March 2020 there will be an opportunity to get also a discount on the monthly cost of the fixed network offer.
This new advantage of TIM Unica will be proposed only to selected mobile network customers (according to some rumors probably for those who already support a high monthly cost on their SIM) and which they will simultaneously activate on the same registry the TIM Super offer from 29.90 euros per month with domiciliation.
In this way, activating TIM Unica, you will get one personalized discount of up to 15 euros per month on the fixed network fee. The activation of the discount will be linked to maintenance of the mobile network offer on which the promotion was proposed.
They can always be to add to convergence up to 5 other TIM mobile network numbers, even with a registry other than the fixed account holder, for a maximum of 6 numbers, all with unlimited Giga.
Remember that TIM Unica is totally free, and thanks to this service on the landline invoice will come the costs of the associated mobile network lines are charged, activating the service Automatic top up on the invoice, while on all numbers you will get unlimited Giga navigation gift.
It should be remembered that on offers with Giga Unlimited TIM considers the use of a breach of in bad faith 500 Giga monthly.
