The rabbis explain in their ruling that there are three possible problems with using the software during the holiday: operating an electrical device during a holiday (good day); Performing a weekday operation during the holiday, which lowers the holiday (rushed worker); And fear of future use of such a permit for future holidays, where the use is unwarranted.

The rabbis solved the problems by mentioning that some Sages from Spain and North Africa had previously allowed the use of appliances on a good day (where the prohibitions were less than Saturday), and also stated that in the present case, the device would be activated before the holiday and will only continue during the holiday. Regarding the second problem, it was made clear that in the present situation it is worthwhile to facilitate the observance of the celebration of the order together as a family.

Regarding the third problem, the rabbis emphasized that “it is clear to everyone that the whole permit is for emergency only.” We also noted that the connection with grandparents is what leads many young people to celebrate Seder in the first place, and the permit will lead to observance. Finally, the rabbis emphasized that they should be allowed to “remove the nerve from the elderly and the elderly” and give them psychic powers.
