Road deaths continued: A 70-year-old man was killed this morning (Sunday) in an accident between a commercial vehicle and a truck on Highway 80 near Abu Jude in the Negev. Another wounded, about 70, was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in a minor condition.
An emergency medical paramedic at MDA Ahmed Abu Judah said: “When we arrived, we saw a man trapped in his private vehicle unconscious. After rescuing firefighters, we resuscitated him, but he suffered severe systemic injury and had to determine his death. Another casualty in the accident was handled by us, and we evacuated her to the hospital in light condition.
Police arrived and began investigating the accident. The truck driver was not present and police began scanning the truck driver and investigating the circumstances of the accident.
