90 students from different schools stayed next to tourists from Korea who were in Corona

The Ministry of Health announced this morning a group of tourists from South Korea visiting the country and returned to the country with signs of the Corona virus. Their itinerary has been monitored and found to be among the three sites of the Tel Be’er Sheva Nature and Parks Authority, Masada and Caesarea.

Thirty students from Be’er Sheva who were at a site in the Tel Be’er Sheva National Park where the South Korean tourist group visited were taken to isolation. A 50-year-old teacher who was staying with students at the Be’er Sheva site along with the South Korean tourist group turned to Soroka with cough symptoms. Samples were taken from him and he was released for home isolation.

About 60 other schoolchildren from Kiryat Haim who traveled near the South Korean delegation, in Masada, will enter isolation similar to those from Be’er Sheva. Apart from the students, there will also be five teachers and a security guard accompanying the trip to Masada.

The Ministry of Education said: “In the wake of the concern that 30 students were in the vicinity of a group of tourists from the south reading and the Ministry of Health’s instructions to stay in solitary confinement, Education Ministry Director-General Shmuel Abubu instructed to appoint an escort team for the school. The team will include: educational consultants and psychologists, a health team that will include the health department supervisor in the office, and a team that will take care online to stay in touch with the isolated students in their home and provide them with the necessary educational responses during the isolation days. ”

Twenty workers from the Nature and Parks Authority who were in contact with tourists from Korea were instructed to remain in domestic isolation until 26/2. The employees feel good without any exceptions. The Nature and Parks Authority continues to maintain continuous contact with the Ministry of Health and to follow the guidelines. All Nature and Parks Authority sites are open.

The Ministry of Health seeks to guide the public in Israel, below:

1. Anyone who has been in close contact (less than 2 meters and for at least 15 minutes) with the group members according to the dates and locations listed below is asked to enter a home isolation for 14 days since the last contact with the group and report it to the Ministry of Health

Also, if signs of illness develop (fever over 38, cough or other respiratory symptoms), seek medical attention in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s instructions on the site with advance notice and according to the Ministry’s instructions.

2. Anyone who has been in the relevant places and times listed below but without close contact is not required to go into isolation but is asked to be alert for any signs of illness (fever over 38, cough or other respiratory symptoms). If symptoms develop, seek medical attention according to the instructions on the office site.

Here are the places and times of exposure:

1. 8.2 – After 20:00 the Tower of David Hotel in Netanya and the Gallery Hotel
2. 9.2 – Caesarea, Gabriel Hotel in Nazareth, Gospel Entrance, Holy Family Entrance, Ein Gev Hotel.
3. 10.2 – Ein Gev Hotel, Tenorin Restaurant, St. Peter’s First Church, Bread and Fish Church.
4. 11.2 – The David Dead Sea Hotel
5. 12.2 – For its part. Timna Park. Leonardo Hotel Negev in Beersheba
6. 13.2 – Beersheba National Park, the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. Grand Court Hotel in Jerusalem.
7. 14.2 – Mount of Olives in Jerusalem – Peggy’s House, Ascension Church, Pat Nostar’s Church, Dominus Plevit Church, Gethsemane Church. Mount Zion – the Last Supper, Mary’s Tomb, Church – Gallicantu

The Ministry of Health adds that as the epidemiological investigation progresses we will publish a more detailed list of places where the group stayed.
