Following an update received from South Korea about 9 tourists staying in Israel between 8.2-15.2 and diagnosed with patients in Corona, the Ministry of Health warns –

On 8.2, the permits were left after 20:00 at the Tower of David Hotel in Netanya and at the Gallery Hotel.

Anyone who is less than 2 meters away and for at least 15 minutes with the group members is asked to enter the home for 14 days since the last contact with the group and report it to the Ministry of Health.

If signs of illness (fever over 38, cough or other respiratory symptoms) develop, seek medical attention.

Anyone who was in Netanya on 8.2 at both hotels but without close contact, is not required to enter the isolation but is asked to be alert for signs of illness.

Hundreds of citizen inquiries about the Corona

Led by the Ministry of Health, Magen David Adom opened a special focus on treating people suspected of being sick in Corona. From the opening of the epicenter, hundreds of citizen inquiries regarding the Corona have been received at Magen David Adom’s 101 hotline.

According to the symptoms, a decision is made whether to send a paramedic to a patient at his home. The specimen will be taken to a laboratory at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer.

MDA Director General Eli Bean: “At the request of the Ministry of Health, Magen David Adom, as Israel’s national rescue organization, has established a dedicated focus on the Corona issue, and if necessary sends MDA paramedics to patients’ homes, to take a sample, on To rule out the presence of the virus in their bodies.
