A student from Riyadh education has devised a new project that aims to protect the Great Mosque of Mecca from all viruses, including Corona.
The student, Abdul-Rahman Al-Sheikh, explained that the project, called “Safe Hajj”, protects Al-Haram Al-Makki and its visitors from viruses and transmission.
He noted that the idea of the project is based on the use of “UGVI” electromagnetic radiation to kill the infection on the campus surface and ground, indicating that this will be at a certain temperature that does not harm humans or animals.
He pointed out that the rays will be placed in a certain amount and space at the sanctuary, to facilitate its spread on the floor of the sanctuary and kill all microorganisms.
