The management of Soroka Medical Center tonight (Saturday night) is assessing the status of malarial executives and infectious disease experts following the information about South Korea’s tourist group that some of its members were in Corona.

The hospital said that from the afternoon, six people contacted the hospital with suspected exposure to the Corona virus, including a 15-year-old girl, and two teachers who were with the group of students. According to the guidelines, samples were taken to test the virus and released for home isolation, in accordance with the Ministry of Health policy and guidelines.

Dr. Lior Nesher, an expert on infectious diseases in Soroka, said this evening “It should be borne in mind that most of the corona virus morbidity is mild morbidity and low mortality rates. However, you should be alert to the signs, according to the Ministry of Health guidelines. It is possible within a range of less than two meters for at least 15 minutes.

Dr. Nesher added, “Patients arriving in Soroka on suspicion of Corona, adults and children, are requested to arrive at the General Naval Command, call the sign-in telephone number at the entrance and enter the emergency room after coordination, accompanied by the screening staff who will receive them.”
