The evening was not very fruitful for Trae Young. The Hawks leader took part in the three-point competition and had a real chance of winning with his 36.4% success this season. For the record, the young leader recorded a 4-point (%) increase from his rookie season, where he shot 32.4% behind the arc.
But as you well know, a shootout is not at all the same exercise as a game shootout. Ice Trae took a very salty booster bite on this subject during the 3-Point Contest that night.
Opposed in the first round to Davis Bertans, Devin Booker, Devonte ’Graham, Joe Harris (winner 2019), Buddy Hield, Zach LaVine and Duncan Robinson, the young leader of the Hawks simply finished last in the contest with only 15 points scored. His passage below.

We thus find in the classification before him Graham (18), Robinson (19) or even Harris (22). So you can easily imagine the mockery of Internet users after its poor performance. Trae Young didn’t seem very resentful, however.
