Nadia Toffa, the foundation was born in Brescia to remember it: "In your name you help hospitals and the Land of fires"

The Foundation in memory of Nadia Toffa was born, and was presented today at Palazzo Loggia, in Brescia, the city of the presenter and journalist who died in August of a brain tumor. "Nadia in her life has always fought to make the voice of those who are not heard heard, to bring to light issues left on the margins and to give concrete help. With these same values we give life to the foundation" said Margherita Rebuffoni, mother of Nadia Toffa, present with her husband and two other daughters alongside the mayor of Brescia Emilio Del Bono.

The foundation in particular will focus on three areas: health and the environment and the social. To date, the main recipients identified are: first the Carlo Besta neurological institute in Milan, where Nadia was under treatment, then the pediatric oncohematology department of the Annunziata hospital in Taranto and some associations operating in the Land of Fires. For the next 15 June a charity event has already been organized which will be held at the Santa Giulia museum in Brescia and all the funds will be donated for cancer research. "I would never have expected so much support after Nadia's death," said Nadia Toffa's mother.
