The trade war between China and the United States is shaking economic circles. And for good reason. The failure of both countries to find common ground results in escalating tariffs. By December 15, almost all Chinese products entering the United States could be taxed, which should lead to further reprisals on the side of Beijing. The OECD has downgraded its global growth forecasts by warning "the exacerbation of trade conflicts (which) are increasingly weighing on confidence and investment". The IMF believes that these tariffs will have "a negative impact on both the US and global economies". However, despite these gloomy prospects, some countries are doing well. Here are the main winners.
