The Vietnamese company will be allowed to operate flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to several destinations in the United States, as well as flights via points in Taipei (Taiwan, China), Osaka and Nagoya in Japan.The Vietnamese national carrier will be allowed to fly to Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seattle and Dallas-Fort Worth. He will also be able to continue his flights to the Canadian cities of Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.
Vietnam Airlines and Delta Air Lines have recently strengthened their code-sharing relationships. According to forecasts, from next October, the American airline will start selling Vietnam Airlines flights between Hanoi and Tokyo to passengers wanting to take a connecting flight to the United States.
Currently, there are no direct flights between Vietnam and the United States yet. Passengers must take flights in transit to Hong Kong (China), Seoul (Republic of Korea) or Tokyo (Japan).
