As we pointed out at the time of its launch, with more than 15 million units sold worldwide, the medium / large sedan of the German brand is its most representative product and in this seventh generation we sought to further improve the feeling of dynamism, not only with a more aggressive design, but also with a new set-up of suspensions and steering, while also working on an improvement in habitability, thanks to slightly larger dimensions.
With the addition of this 320i version, only the arrival of the most powerful M340i variant of 370 hp, scheduled for before the end of the year, remains. These are its main features:
The new:
It is a new version that adds to the range of Series 3 (G20) presented in mid-May in our country. In this case, it is a more accessible variant with respect to the 330i, the only one that was marketed so far.
It maintains the main characteristics of the 330i, especially in terms of aesthetics, standing out for the LED headlights and a more aggressive design with respect to its predecessor, highlighted in the Sportline termination. The biggest difference is seen in the mechanics, since it has a less powerful engine (184 hp), although with a very good level of performance and a correct provision of comfort and safety.
Comfort equipment (featured):
Automatic climate control, Professional multimedia system with 10 ”screen, compatible with Apple CarPlay, Sensatec upholstery, leather-covered multifunction steering wheel, 12.3” BMW Live Cockpit Professional digital instruments, sports seats with electrical and memory regulations, velor floor mats, Led headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels with Run Flat tires.
Safety equipment:
It maintains a large part of the 330i equipment, with front, side and curtain airbags (front and rear), four-wheel disc brakes with ABS / EBD / AFU, traction control (DTC), stability control (DSC) , curve brake control (CBC) and tire pressure sensor.
Additionally, it includes adaptive cruise speed control and the automatic parking assistant.
Mechanics:
The 320i version has a Twin Power Turbo four-cylinder inline 2.0-liter gasoline engine, which develops 184 hp between 5,000 and 6,500 rpm and a torque of 300 Nm between 1,350 and 4,000 rpm. It is associated with the Steptronic 8-speed automatic transmission (with sequential option) and has rear-wheel drive.
