(ANSA) – NEW YORK, APRIL 25 – With 1,258 deaths in the last 24
hours and 51,017 in total, the United States remains the country most
affected in absolute terms by the coronavirus but the balance
newspaper compiled by Johns Hopkins University reveals the
lower than the last three weeks. This drop one
tantum, however – warns the University of Baltimore – does not indicate
for now no trend and will have to recur in the next
days because we can talk about a real improvement of the
situation in the country. The last figure lower than this dates back
last April 6, with 1,150 deaths in 24 hours. Thursday
last, on the contrary, the United States had registered one of the
heavier daily budgets, with over 3,170 deaths in one
only day. The US also counts the highest number of infections
officers, with over 890,000 cases diagnosed from the start
of the pandemic.
