The Cabinet gave the green light to law decree which contains the rules relating to State exams and student evaluation for theschool year 2019/2020, measures that take into account the emergency coronavirus. The decree, which will now be published in the Official Journal, to then be converted by Parliament, secures the 2019/2020 school year and ferries schools towards 2020/2021. According to MIUR sources, they will be approx 460 thousand students who will face the Maturity next June.

Maturity 2020, how the State Exam will take place

This year everyone will have the opportunity to take the tests of the final exam, taking into account the emergency period. The access credits for class V and the final grade will still be based on the commitment of the whole year. The decree then indicates one double possibility. If the children can return to school by the May 18, there will be an exam with internal commission. The first test, Italian, will be prepared by the Ministry. The second, the different one for each address, will be prepared by the commissions. Then there will be the oral. If you do not return to school, only the oral interview is scheduled. There remains the need to reach at least the score of 60/100 to obtain the diploma.
