A new fund
The fund will be called “Always with you” and anyone who wishes can contribute through the account opened by the Civil Protection: IBAN IT66 J030 6905 0201 0000 0066 432. Less than a week ago, Diego and Andrea Della Valle, respectively president and vice president of Tod’s, have decided to waive the fees that had already been approved in their favor for the 2020 financial year.
The waiver of compensation
The decision was taken during the board meeting, held with urgent procedure to resolve to postpone the date of the ordinary shareholders’ meeting. Originally scheduled for April 22 in first call and May 29 in second call, it was postponed to June 3 in first call and, if necessary, to June 26 in second call, with the aim of making the physical presence of the members possible . Furthermore, considering the progressive worsening of the global scenario of the covid-19 epidemic, the board of directors of the luxury group has decided not to distribute any dividends on the profits of the 2019 fiscal year. The destination of 1% of the consolidated net profit for solidarity initiatives, while the profit for the year 2019 will, for the rest, be entirely allocated to reserves.
