VALENCIA – A lot of fear for Valentino Rossi in the second free practice sessions of the Valencia GP: the Doctor fell at turn 10, shattering his M1. Fortunately, however, the Doctor was unharmed and after changing tracksuit and motorcycle he returned to the track. The session for him – which also slipped to the ground this morning – ended in 14th place.
Still Quartararo
The fastest in the afternoon at the Ricardo Tormo was still Fabio Quartararo, who stopped the clock on 1.30.735. He follows it with 148 thousandths distance, Maverick Vinales, who finished second ahead of AMrc Marquez, third, with a gap of 239 thousandths. Fourth Jack Miller, fifth Franco Morbidelli, almost half a second, sixth place for Alex Rins. Then Mir, Aleix Espargaro and Dovizioso, to close the top ten Johann Zarco, on LCR Honda instead of Takaaki Nakagami.
