Ftse Mib: the long wait begins before the big surprise

The only exception was the Cac40 which rose against the trend by 0.17%, while the Dax30 and the Ftse100 fell 0.02% and 0.34% respectively.

Ftse Mib cautious, but always close to the highs of the year

Weak also the conclusion of Piazza Affari where the Ftse Mib ended trading at 22.680 points, with a fractional fall of 0.07%, after having scored in the intraday a maximum of 22.747 and a minimum of 22.615 points.

The index tried to push itself forward, but after reaching the top of the eve it folded slightly, but scored a bottom higher than the eve.

The market confirms its bullish stance and lives in a climate of expectation, ahead of tomorrow's appointment with the Fed.

The latter's decision on interest rates, followed by Powell's press conference, will arrive after the closing of the European stock exchanges, which will therefore give rise to a positive or negative reaction, opening on Thursday.

From a technical point of view the scenario at Piazza Affari does not change, with the Ftse Mib ready to launch into new rises, provided that comforting indications are received from the Fed.

With the breaking of the top of the year in the 22.750 area, the index should easily exceed the threshold of 22.800 and point to 23,000 / 23,150 points, which will not be ruled out before a further climb.

In the event of bad news from the Fed, sales could take over, with the risk of seeing the Ftse Mib immediately tested at 22,600 / 22,500 points.
