Nina Derwael retained its world asymmetric bars title, having already climbed the highest step last year in Doha. Saturday in Stuttgart, the 19-year-old gymnast reoffended by once again dominating her opponents.

Best mark of the qualifications (15.141), the Trudonnaire delivered a service without hesitation while perfectly controlling its exercise. His score of 15.233 leaves no space for regrets to the British Rebecca Downie 2nd with 15,000 and the American Sunisa Lee, 3rd with 14,800. The superstar of gymnastics Simon Biles finished 5th with 14,700.

Two-time European Champion (2017, 2018), our compatriot will be expected at the turn in less than a year in Tokyo where she could complete a sensational loop with an Olympic title.

Thursday, Derwael took 5th place in the open competition with 56,033 points. Last Saturday, she contributed to the qualification at the Olympic Games of Belgium in the women's team event.

Sunday, the Belgian Sportswoman of the year 2018 will play a new final in the ground contest.
