Ford wanted to stimulate theimagination and the curiosity of its guests in the city of the future, through electrification technologies for tomorrow's cars and low-impact transportation vehicles environmental.

The Genoa Science Festival has seen the American House pavilion turn blue for Go Electric, exhibition gone into scene for the first time in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, to bring the public closer to some technologies that will soon be protagonists on Ford models.

Orient yourself to be able to choose

One of the first intentions of this initiative is to bring people closer to the different concepts of hybrid cars that will populate the market today and in the future. It becomes increasingly difficult to disentangle between the various types of hybrid and it is often not clear which of these leads to actual benefits for circulation and maintenance costs.

Thanks to the explanations on the different ones alternative technologies, it will be easier to understand the type of vehicle most suitable or not to each according to the lifestyle or the business needs and not. Ford, in this sense, is focusing a lot on promoting more levels of electrification, stimulating.

Increasingly complete range

The efforts are obviously bulleted on the range, where each new vehicle can count on at least one electrified version. We start from the new Puma to get to the Transit, with mild-h ybrid solutions, plug-in hybrid or 100% electric.

The goal is indeed to provide a wide choice of electrified vehicles, which can count on easy access to charging and which they are supported from advanced connectivity systems and related mobility services.

Space for fun

Among the many attractions of the event, there is also the first simulator in the world of electric vehicles, the E-Launch, developed to reproduce the acceleration of 1.2 G of the engine of the Ford electric SUV inspired by the Mustang that will arrive in 2020.

THE visitors will be able to try on their skin the burning acceleration of this kind of vehicles, capable of catapulting from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds. Everything is made even more unique by the environment within the experience it takes part. Seeing is believing.
