In qualifying for Euro 2020, France won 1-0 in Iceland while England suffered the law of the Czech Republic (2-1) after leading the score.

The French game has not reassured on the Icelandic lawn. After a first half of any level, the Tricolores tried to bring a little rhythm against Icelanders well limited. The match rocked when Antoine Griezmann took a sole on the thigh in the sixteen meters. Forced to be treated on the sidelines, Barcelona striker Olivier Giroud converted the penalty (66th) for his 37th goal in selection. Everything was then easier for the French selection now ideally placed for a qualification before the arrival of Turkey at the Stade de France on Tuesday.

England will have to wait before validating his ticket for Euro 2020 puzzle. The English had opened the mark by Harry Kane in the 4th minute. The Tottenham striker had deceived former Basel goalkeeper Tomas Vacklic on a penalty following a foul on Sterling. The Czechs quickly equalized by Brabec (9th). In the 85th, Ondrasek, left alone in the middle of the English defense, could score the goal of the victory following a center of Masopust.

Portugal has not always convinced the modest Luxembourg. The Lusitanians were saved by their stars Bernardo Silva (26th) and Cristiano Ronaldo (65th) before Guedes scored the goal of safety. With this success, the Portuguese have pushed Serbia to four points and can glimpse more calmly a qualification behind the Ukraine, winner 2-0 of Lithuania, and who only needs one point to qualify.
