The Ford Puma Titanium X is the most exclusive version of this European mini SUV

With micro-hybrid technology and more equipment, the Frankfurt Motor Show will see the birth of the Ford Puma Titanium X, a variant that will be located as the top of the range of this model. Of course, it will have various elements in technology and security.

The Ford Puma It is the model in the brand has higher expectations, in Europe. This mini SUV, which debuted a few months ago and will also be a center of attraction in the Frankfurt lounge, presents in this scenario its most luxurious version: the Ford Puma Titanium Xwhich adds more exclusivity details and a very complete equipment.

Several details will identify this new model. Outside, it exhibits 18-inch alloy wheels with ten spokes in Pearl Gray, bright black front grille with chrome decorations, rearview mirror housings in ‘body color’ and scanning lights integrated into the air inlets.

But one of the most curious novelties is its upholstery. The Ford Puma Titanium X will be the first model of the brand with washable and interchangeable seat covers, of which any type of stains can be easily removed and cleaned. According to Ford, it is a "family-proof" car.

An ‘Premium’ air

Also the front seats with this SUV are added lumbar massage function, steering wheel with leather effect and wooden appliqués around the console and the instrument panel. This, to give a more ‘Premium’ look to the vehicle.

It also includes the SYNC 3 multimedia center with Bluetooth connectivity, and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The sound equipment is B&O with 10 speakers and 575 watts of power, also adding rain sensor, rear parking sensors and dual zone automatic climate control.

There is no lack of an extensive list of driving assistance: Lane maintenance, pre-collision with pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control, to mention a few.

Micro-hybrid technology

In line with electrified mobility, the Ford Puma Titanium X incorporates a 48-volt micro-hybrid drive system (MHEV), called EcoBoost Hybrid.

Part of an engine 1.0 liter EcoBoost Turbo petrol, with powers of 125 or 155 horses, which joins a 11.5 kW integrated belt generator (BISG), powered by a 14 volt lithium ion battery.

The purpose of the system is reduce fuel consumption and emissions, which according to the WLTP cycle, is achieved by up to 9% regarding purely combustion models. The electrical system supports the gasoline engine when it requires it.
