Revolut attacks the United States and Japan and is preparing to hire 3,500 employees

The neo-bank Revolut announced the conclusion of an agreement with the payment company Visa by which it will invest twenty-four new markets. It will thus commit 3,500 additional employees to support this expansion.

Revolut is a UK-based fintech that is experiencing a significant expansion of its activities since its founding in 2015. Online banking claims more than 8 million customers today in Europe and Australia.

To continue its expansion, it has reached an agreement with the giant of payment Visa. Under this one, it will launch its services in 24 new markets, including eight by the end of the year, including the United States, Russia, Japan and Brazil. The company will engage 3,500 people to support this growth.

"We are currently about 1,500. By next summer, we will be close to 5,000Nikolay Storonsky, Revolut's founder and CEO, told Reuters. It aims to double or even triple its number of customers next year.

The agreement is not exclusive, but 75% of Revolut cards should be provided by Visa.
