Hurricane Dorian goes into Category 3 on a scale of 5. It is now considered "major", announces the National Hurricane Center (in English), Friday, August 30th. This hurricane "extremely dangerous" presents a "significant threat" for Florida (United States) and northern Bahamas, says NHC.

The hurricane is located over the Atlantic 700 km northwest of the Bahamas and 1,000 km east of the city of West Palm Beach, Florida. It moves at about 17 km / h and may become even stronger before reaching the coast of Florida on Monday or Tuesday.
