The Cryptonomist had the opportunity to organize an interview with Didi Taihuttu, a man who in 2016 decided to sell everything and live using only crypto as a payment method. This does not only involve him but all his family, called ever since Bitcoin Family.

In these uncertain times and of lockdown for the Coronavirus, we had the chance to talk to him online and record a sort of podcast that you can listen to in English with Italian subtitles below the Youtube link.

As a globetrotter he was, Didi was in Thailand at the time of the interview and the Internet connection was not perfect, so you may notice some cuts in the audio.

Anyway, with Didi we talked about how his adventure in the crypto world began in the now distant 2013 undermining Bitcoin, how his family wanted to sell everything and do all-in of cryptocurrencies and how the real mass adoption will arrive in 2 or 3 years.

Another hot topic of the interview was that of the markets and their current decline. According to Didi the markets were already physiologically destined to drop but all the institutions and governments have used Coronavirus in practice as an excuse to blame the disease of the situation.

During the interview, Didi also answered some questions from the fans, which had reached us via Twitter at the time the interview was announced.

Didi, however, is not the only one – even if for a longer time – who has decided to live on crypto only. In fact, we recently conducted an interview with Feliz Chelou, founder of The Real Bitcoin Club.
