impertinences
According to the leader of LpR, there are several “inconveniences” of this modification. “No prior information – Ancisi underlines – seems to have reached Hera users / customers. It is not known which administrative authorities have eventually ordered this decision, which is however applied to services governed by different regulatory and supervisory regimes. What is certain is that, falling in full coronavirus health emergency, with heavy negative consequences on the economy and employment, the most unfortunate moment to make it rain on families and perhaps on businesses could not be chosen.
It will be possible to discuss whether, from a psychological point of view, the higher installment of the bills is convenient or inconvenient for the payer. But it certainly seems the greatest economic advantage for those who collect them first. And there is no doubt that users / customers less accustomed to new technologies, for example the elderly who pay their bills with a postal bulletin, to receive twelve bills in a year, instead of six, means paying 18 euros of postal costs instead of nine (calculating € 1.50 per payment). But also using electronic means means doubling the number of movements, with potential unfavorable effects depending on the type of current account or debit / credit card.
In any case, this improvisation is considerably in contradiction with the endless declarations of the political leaders of the State, of the Emilia-Romagna Region and of the Municipality of Ravenna, aimed at ensuring citizens conspicuous delays of payments of all kinds falling during the period of the declared Covid emergency -19. Consider that Hera is a multi-utility with a turnover of 6 billion euros, governed by a public hand, of which 111 Municipalities, including Ravenna, are part, which, also represented on the board of directors, is among the most powerful “.
The query
“I therefore ask the mayor – concludes the parent company of LpR – to clarify all the obscure terms of the above, in particular:
- to which masses of users / customers has the transition to monthly invoicing been applied, including businesses;
- such as authorizations, opinions, assessments, etc. have been formulated in this regard, service by service;
- if the contracts stipulated with individual users / customers have been respected for each service;
- what the installments arranged to date by other companies operating on the local market for gas and electricity.
Finally, I ask him what corrective actions he intends to carry out on Hera as mayor of Ravenna and as (as such) one of the main shareholders of the company “.
