The seventh evening of the “Poet of the Million” program, in its ninth season, was launched on Tuesday evening, in the presence of Sultan Saleh Ahmed Al Bakry, Deputy Ambassador at the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Abu Dhabi, and Issa Saif Al Mazroui, Vice Chairman of the Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Programs Management Committee in Abu Dhabi, and members of the Advisory Committee For the program.

The jury of the program consisted of the researcher and novelist Sultan Al-Amimi, Director of the Poetry Academy in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ghassan Al-Hassan, and the poet Hamad Al-Saeed, and members of the Advisory Committee, the poet Badr Safouq and the poet Turki Al-Muraikhi, then excerpts from the previous evening that witnessed the qualification of Zayed Ayed Al-Ruwais With a score of 48/50, and Hammoud Khalaf Al-Qahtani with a score of 47/50 by the decision of the jury. Followed by the announcement of the results of the public’s voting throughout the past week, through the website and application of the Million’s Poet, where Abdul Aziz Al-Ablan Al-Daihani qualified with a score of 70%, and Saeed Jarallah Al-Mansouri 66%, while Turki Al-Huwaider Al-Sahli and Fahd Al-Qurain Al-Badri equal 47%.

Within the competitions of the seventh evening of the “Poet of the Million” program organized by the Committee for the Management of Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Programs in Abu Dhabi, within the framework of its cultural strategy aimed at preserving heritage and promoting interest in Arabic literature and poetry, poets Barzan Al-Suhaim Al-Shammari from Iraq, Hamad Al-Muwaziri Al-Rashidi from Kuwait, and Abdullah Mubarak Al-Hamoumi from Yemen, Maitha Al-Ghaferi from the Sultanate of Oman, and Muthar bin Dahim Al-Otaibi and Nabeel bin Ivan from Saudi Arabia, where they competed in presenting their poetic masterpieces to members of the jury.

At the end of the evening the announcement of the results of the audience of Al Raha Beach Theater audience and the jury’s decision was announced, as the results of the theater audience voting were distributed as follows: Barzan Al Suhaim Al Shammari by 9%, Hamad Al Muwaziri Al Rashidi by 8%, Abdullah Mubarak Al Hamoumi by 44%, and Maitha Al Ghaferi by 29% %, And singer Bin Dahim Al-Otaibi by 8%, and Nabil bin Ivan by 3%, while the results of the jury decision qualified Barzan Al-Suhaim Al-Shammari with a score of 47/50, and singer Bin Dahim Al-Otaibi with a score of 47/50, while the results of the rest of the poets who were subject to a vote The audience through the Poet and Million website and application for a whole week as follows: Hamad Al-Muwaziri Al-Rashidi Bin Score 46/50, Mitha Al Ghaferi, score 46/50, Nabil bin Ivan, score 43/50, and Abdullah Mubarak Al Hamoumi, score 41/50.

The poets of the eighth and final evening of the first stage were announced, who will compete to qualify for the second stage on Tuesday, February 11, and they are: Sultan bin Muatab Al-Dossary, Muhammad Al-Bandar Al-Mutairi and Muhammad Al-Hammadi Al-Otaibi from Saudi Arabia, Amer bin Fawaz Al-Ajmi from Kuwait, and Abdullah bin Fahm from the Emirates , And Muhammad Hamdan Al-Anzi from Jordan.
