Cadillac introduces the new generation of luxury SUV model Escalade

When we begin to study the vehicle, we immediately notice that the console design has changed completely and has become much more modern. The total of the digital displays on the console has reached up to 38 inches. When we look at these screens, we see a 7.2 inch touch screen on the left side of the steering wheel. Next to this screen, that is, behind the steering wheel, is another 14.2 inch screen. There is a third screen to the right of this screen, which corresponds to the multimedia screen and is 16.9 inches in size.

Cadillac also notes that all these displays have OLED technology and have 2 times the pixel density even than a 4K television. It is also stated that these screens will be standard in all versions of Escalade.

The new Cadillac Escalade’s abundant technologies are not limited to 3 touch screens on the console. Cadillac has added an advanced and virtual reality-supported navigation system similar to that of some Mercedes-Benz models. Within this system, driving directions on real-time road images are shown to the driver. The new Escalade has various cameras on the front, back and sides of the camera, which show the bird’s eye-view peripheral view to the driver. When we continue to examine the interior of the vehicle, we also see two 12.6-inch touchscreen multimedia screens for the rear passengers.

Cadillac Escalade, with the 2020 model, also gets the company’s Super Cruise technology. This system, which is compatible with many highways and roads in the USA; LiDAR offers autonomous driving using GPS, radars and cameras. Of course, the system does not cut off the communication with the driver completely and sends a warning immediately when the driver needs intervention.

If we continue to explain the great features of the new Escalade, we can say that the car has a 36-speaker sound system developed in partnership with AKG. Cadillac relies heavily on this sound system and says it is the first in the industry. This sound system is also designed to integrate with the vehicle’s navigation system. For example, if you need to turn left, the voice of the navigation instruction saying this comes from the left side. It is stated that the AKG sound system in the standard version of Escalade has 19 speakers instead of 36. There are also some microphones embedded in Escalade’s cabin. This allows passengers to hear each other well, even though they are distant from each other.
