A 29-year-old Italian man was arrested by the Milan-based Carabinieri operating unit for aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping and robbery against a 70-year-old Italian woman. The violence would have taken place last November 3rd. According to reports from the military of the Duomo company, the aggression would have been consummated in an apartment.Daniele Corona, domiciled in Dovera (Cremona) but resident in Lodi, had contacted the 70-year-old on a dating site for adults. After agreeing a service, the man showed up in the apartment in the Arco della Pace area. The woman said that Daniele Corona had a "normal" attitude until he started taking cocaine and became violent. He locked the bedroom door to prevent the victim from escaping, forced her to have unprotected sex, beat her and threatened her with a knife she had with her. The 70-year-old remained at the mercy of the man from 10 pm to 9 am on 3 November, when he left carrying the victim's three phones and 500 euros. The investigators identified him starting from the cell phone number marked by the woman on a calendar.
According to reports from the carabinieri, who worked together with the Lodi Mobile team, he would be the author of another 3 episodes (even if only the Milanese one is disputed in the order of custody): two rapes (the one that took place in Milan and another in Cremona against a Romanian prostitute last week) and two attempts in the Lodi area (in May against a middle-aged woman and in the night between 12 and 13 November against a Colombian prostitute). The man was taken to prison in Lodi.
