In Naples schools also closed tomorrow, Wednesday 6 November. Mayor Luigi De Magistris has just signed the closure ordinance of institutions of all levels, including nurseries, as a precautionary measure for weather alert.
The level of attention remains Orange until 12 noon on Wednesday 6 November. Cemeteries and city parks are also closed. Already yesterday the Municipality had ordered the suspension of educational activities for today, reserving the right to do the same for tomorrow. The problem – as far as we learn – is represented above all by the strong gusts of wind.
The problem is that bad weather, with thunderstorms and strong winds, will last a long time because it is on its way a new disturbance which will discharge more rain over the whole of Campania and, in general, over the whole Tyrrhenian Sea. In other regions there will even be risk of snow: but this, for the moment, will not fall on Campania even in the highest areas. If today will be the "heaviest" day from the point of view of the rain, from Friday there will be a further deterioration of the climate, with abundant rainfall over the whole region, and that will last for another seven days. The snow will not fall in Campania even if it could be "sighted" next weekend on the highest peaks. Rain that will fall profusely throughout the region.
