A house, a car, the furnishing of an apartment. And also a power plant for the production of energy from renewable sources: temporary use and sharing economy (to the detriment of possession) take hold in contemporary society, and the market responds with innovative proposals.

As is the case in Northern Europe, in Italy too the law is now concrete possibility to rent a photovoltaic system and install it on the roof of the house, paying a fee on the energy produced at a reduced price. Without any additional cost for the purchase, installation and disposal of the plant.

The international group proposes the service (as part of a policy of expanding its business) Modus Group (active since 1993 in the field of renewables), through the specialized company Green Genius, just rewarded a Ecomondo in Rimini for Sustainable Development.

A monthly fee to repay the works
The formula resembles, roughly, that proposed by the Esco (Energy service company, companies specialized in planning energy saving projects through real estate redevelopment, ed): in this case the works are carried out and the customer repays them with a monthly fee (proportionate to the savings achieved), after which the plant becomes the customer's property.

The Green Genius proposal, however, is characterized by some differences and particularities. First of all, those who benefit from the service (and therefore benefit from the free installation of the system in their own home and the coverage including maintenance costs) do not pay a fixed fee to Green Genius, but pays the energy produced at the reduced price of around 11 cents (the saving is at least 9-10 euro cents per kWh compared to the rates applied by the most famous managers).
