The Protocol Office of the municipal capital has acquired yesterday (finally!) The opinion issued by the Archaeological Superintendency of Fine Arts and Landscape, concerning the completion of the procedure for the expropriation procedure of the new multi-purpose facility in Contrada Masseriola. Now, it is permissible to await horas the convening of the Municipal Council for the discussion about the construction and management of the "New Arena", the sports facility that, if they are roses, will rise in Contrada Masseriola. It will be very interesting to follow the work of the council, because only then will it finally be possible to finally understand who among the council groups present does not want the realization of the structure.

The Superintendency, however, wanted to make sure that all the excavation works, including those for the realization of the sub-services, will have to be carried out with «the continuous archaeological check to be entrusted to an archaeologist with adequate professional training», and will have to be carried out according to the directives of the competent offices of the same Superintendency. On the landscape side, the Superintendency has requested that in the executive planning phase «the 150-meter strip on the west side of the Benigno canal, a watercourse that runs parallel to the side of interventions along the eastern border of the same, should be entirely destined green with the presence of native plant essences ».
