Forecast unfortunately confirmed: the civil protection has issued a notice of weather alert for the next few hours. A large Atlantic depression, centered on the British Isles, conveys several impulses on our country, thus initiating a phase of bad weather on all Italian regions, with more widespread and intense rainfall in the North and on the Tyrrhenian areas.
The formation of a minimum on the ground on the western Italian seas will cause a general reinforcement of ventilation from the southern quadrants. Therefore on the basis of the available forecasts, the Civil Protection Department has issued a notice of adverse weather conditions.
The notice foresees from today's night, Saturday 2 November, widespread and abundant precipitations, also with a reverse or temporal character, on Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Umbria, Lazio, Sardinia and Campania, in extension to the western sectors of Abruzzo, Molise and Basilicata.
The weather forecast for Sunday 3 November
From the morning of Sunday 3 November, we expect the persistence of intense precipitations, also with a reverse or temporal character, on Liguria and Tuscany. The phenomena will be accompanied by heavy rain showers, frequent electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.
From the early morning of tomorrow, strong south-westerly gale winds are expected, with gusts of strong storm, on the Apennine sectors of Lombardy and Emilia Romagna and on Liguria, Tuscany, Sardinia, Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania and Basilicata. Sea storms along the exposed coasts.
The orange weather alert issued
On the basis of the phenomena in place and planned, it has been evaluated for tomorrow, orange alert on Campania, on most of Lazio and on sectors of Liguria, Basilicata, Molise and Sardinia.
Also assessed yellow alert on Tuscany, Umbria, Abruzzo, Molise, Veneto, on the sectors of Calabria, Lombardy, Sicily, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Puglia, Tuscany, Friuli Venezia Giulia and on the remaining territories of Lazio, Basilicata, Liguria and Sardinia.
