Cianci attacked him from behind, pointed the cutter at his throat and, after grabbing the miserable booty, sank the blade into the 79-year-old's neck. He could have killed him, but fortunately the blow did not reach the jugular: the old man is no longer in confidential prognosis and should be discharged in a few days.

For the 60 year old, the public prosecutor investigating the matter, Nicola Rossato, has requested the validation of the arrest and custody in prison. The checks also continue on the premium permit granted to the ergastolano: the Minister of Justice Alfonso Bonafede sent his inspectors to examine the matter. in the meantime the daughter of one of Cianci's victims expressed her indignation for the episode: "I am upset by the fact that this ignoble being, who was slaughtering mercilessly, allowed another family to live in conditions of pain, trampling and insulting, among other things, my father's memory and his colleagues ", commented Daniela Lia, daughter of the carabiniere Pietro.
