In Phillip Island it is cold, there is wind and it rains. Luckily Dalla Porta brought the sun with his Moto3 title. Won like a champion, deserved without if, but either. Bravo and humble, we expect a lot from him even in the coming years.

As from Bagnaia, who finally got it right in a MotoGP race. The podium lost for 55 thousandths would have been the icing, but the cake is also good. We accompany her with a toast to Iannone, sparkling like Andrea in Australia. The rest of the meal, once again, was eaten by Marquez and now the other pilots are used to fasting.

In a few days you will arrive in Malaysia, maybe the menu will change there.

THE BEAUTIFUL – By now Lorenzo Dalla Porta will have woken up and discovered that nothing he did was a dream. If anything, it made all Italians dream, desperate for a heir to Dovizioso in the cadet class. After 15 years a boy with a Tuscan accent appeared and the courage not to be afraid to make mistakes. Tears and glory, on the perfect day, with the winner's cup in hand and the champion's laurel on his neck. One thing so many can only dream of. Not Lorenzo, he did it.

THE UGLY – How nice to see all the pilots discuss safety and advise you to cancel qualifications to avoid danger. All the pilots, but of MotoGP. Those of Moto2 and Moto3 must be immune to the wind, and also to the dead seagull who has been in the middle of the track at turn 9 for all FP3s. Certain precautions are right and must apply to everyone, but it always seems to have something to do with a Serie A championship and two others of B. This is not at all nice.

THE BAD – Lorenzo already has his problems and maybe the overtaking on the outside with a lot of 'slice of the wing' that Marquez gave him in FP3 was avoidable. Jorge made the figure of the amateur on a track day with good ones. A champion like him deserves a little more respect, especially from his teammate.

CONFIRMATION – We are still here, talking about Marquez, of his 5th consecutive victory, the record of successes on Honda in the premier class (55 against the 54 of Doohan), of the 14 podiums in a row, of how fast, ruthless, lucid. Only we've finished the adjectives. We will spend the next few days studying the dictionary, promised.

THE DISAPPOINTMENT – Franco Morbidelli's symphony continues to be unfinished. It is from some race that the Petronas rider keeps the right pace in practice, but the splint arrives hopelessly in the race. The reason is not known, but the Brazilian from Tavullia must rediscover his inspiration. It's not okay to leave things halfway.

THE ERROR – Usually we will put a pilot behind the signaling table and kneel on the bolts, laying down a handful of corners from the end. However Maverick Vinales had to deal with Marquez, he dictated the pace throughout the race and simply had to try. It went wrong. Try again, you'll be luckier.

SURPRISE – Two, like at Christmas under the tree, but of eucalyptus. The first is Pecco Bagnaia which (better late than never) showed what it is capable of on Ducati. The driver who had won the Moto2 title a few months ago has been revised and the only recommendation is not to make him disappear again.

The second is Andrea Iannone, which has tamed Aprilia on one of the most difficult tracks, but which he loves. When he is on the ball he makes a show and of course he gave it as a present. Noale's bike is not yet at the level to repeat certain performances, but Andrea has made the desire come quickly.

OVERTAKING – Maybe he wanted to celebrate the 400 GP or maybe go back to see the free track in front of him. Overtaking outside at the first corner of Valentino Rossi has served little in the overall economy of the race, but he has remembered what he is capable of. Unfortunately it was the only flash.

THE CURIOSITY – The Moto2 rocket man is Stefano Manzi who, in the warm up, touched a record speed of 301.8 km / h on his MV Agusta. The Forward driver did not go strong only on the forehand, but he also claimed himself in the race.

I SAID IT – A choir (with us present) in the Phillip Island paddock on Saturday: "the race is by Vinales". Here's what happens and bet against Marquez.
