For two days, between yesterday and today, they visited 4 thousand supermarkets in all Italian regions with a specific mission: to make the new biscuit available to store managers, salesmen, cashiers, customers. They are the 1,000 Ferrero "ambassadors: employees of the Albanian multinational who, on a voluntary basis, giving their availability to travel in many cases of hundreds of kilometers, have decided to participate in the second part of the great promotional operation with which the group accompanied the launch of the new Nutella biscuit produced in the innovative oven built in Balvano, in Basilicata: a product that, just yesterday, Monday 4 November, is being distributed in supermarkets, shops, bars and roadside restaurants all over the country.

A small, large army in whose ranks there is obviously a representation left from the capital of the Langhe. About 150 people – as explained by the Albanian headquarters of the multinational -, coming from the most varied operating divisions: the financial manager together with the worker, the marketing manager with that of the "supply chain": sweatshirt and ordering kit in hand have supported the sellers accompanying the thousands of tastings offered to the story of how the innovative product was born and is realized.

At the head of this cheerful brigade was none other than the managing director Alessandro D’Este that, after having inaugurated the spaces of the Milanese Nutella House (we wrote about it here), wanted to participate personally in this special company mission, with the aim of telling cashiers, salesmen and simple patrons of the most remote areas of Italy what lies behind – in terms of research, investments and technology – to this 'treasure chest' of shortbread stuffed with the famous spreadable cream.

A tasting operation never tried before, in the parts of Alba, and which probably has few precedents in the world, due to the unique ways in which it was conceived, involving employees who at various levels, over the ten years of its incubation, participated in the conception and realization of the product.

In these first days of November, 1,000 'ferreriani' of all functions, including administration, logistics and other services, are supporting the sellers in the Nutella Biscuits proposal.
