"Thanks to the great work and significant sustained investments, which are fundamental for our development, the results of the first half of 2019 confirm Energica Motor Company among the leaders of the EVs market with a turnover up by over 57% compared to the first half of 2018."
"Technological development has had an important acceleration with MotoETM, thanks to which we will have an element of unique competitiveness for the next two years", continues Cevolini.
"Energica is in fact the only company in the world to have an exclusive test bench to test new technical solutions with the best pilots in the world. A support that has proved to be unprecedented for our R&D both for the racing experience and for the experience on production bikes. "" It is here at Eicma that we present the first innovation achieved in the racing field applied to our production bikes: a now tangible advantage on the market and for all our customers ".
Energica arrives at Eicma with many new features, starting with the introduction of a new power unit, which doubles the MY2020 range with the Ego +, Eva EsseEsse9 + and the new Eva Ribelle versions. We had already seen something between stolen shots and a Nico Rosberg video at Paul Ricard released a few days ago.
Building on the experience gained in the MotoE, the Modena-based company has developed a new power unit with a 21.5 kWh lithium polymer battery. The new battery will be available on all 2020 models and will complement the version with 13.4 kWh battery in the Ego and Eva EsseEsse9 models.
"This is the largest and most powerful battery pack currently available on a standard electric motorcycle." Says Giampiero Testoni, CTO Energica. "We are proud to present this excellence to all our 2020 models, the result of the great technological development we have achieved over the past two years thanks to our commitment to MotoE and that we have been able to transport from the track to road products".
The new power unit guarantees the Energica 2020 range even better performance with a torque ranging from 200 Nm for Eva EsseEsse9 + to 215 Nm for Ego + and Eva Ribelle. The one in which the new Emilian motorcycles lose is instead the weight which decreases by 5%.
Adding all the news, the Energica bikes have a 60% increased range! In real terms, the Emilia House has calculated that the Ego +, Eva Ribelle, Eva EsseEsse 9 + are able to travel 400 km in the city, 230 km in the combined cycle and 180 km on extra-urban roads.
Rebel Eve
It has a range of up to 400km and can reach a maximum speed of 200km / h. Like all Energica motorcycles, Eva Ribelle can be recharged with the standard fast charge through charging stations, filling up at a rate of 6.7 km per minute or in slow charge it takes an hour to recover 65 km of autonomy.
Eva Ribelle shows up at Eicma in two colors: Stealth Gray and Rosso Corsa.
