In a market environment still affected by the implementation of the RGPD in Europe, Weborama records at 1st first half of 2019, sales of € 15.15 million were down 5.4% compared to 1st 2018, despite the slight growth of the Data Strategy division.
International sales amounted to 68%, slightly down compared to the same period last year.
The gross margin rate stands at 66%, an improvement compared to the same period of the previous year when it amounted to 64%.
Commercial efforts in the United States continue as well as investments in R & D.
The operating result for the half-year amounted to € 1.53 million (- € 0.15 million in the first half of 2018).
Given the sustained efforts in Research & Development, the Group has a research tax credit for the first half of 2019 of € 1.2 million.
After taking into account the financial result and taxes, the Group's net profit is – € 1.09 million.
At June 30, 2019, the Group had a cash position of € 5 million (plus € 2 million of CIR 2018 to be cashed after June 30, 1919) with a financial debt down to € 2.6 million ( compared with € 3.8 million at 31/12/2018) and shareholders' equity of € 22.4 million.
