The robot, equipped with a 360-degree camera, is content to roll slowly in the paths of the large garden. It also broadcasts messages telling visitors to keep things clean. By renting HP RoboCop for $ 70,000 a year (about € 63,000), the salary of a very experienced police officer, the police had other missions in mind for the machine.

Unable to contact the police
For example, the machine had to monitor the site 24 hours a day and detect possible misdemeanors. It was also intended to serve as a relay for visitors to the park to prevent emergency services or the police in case of problems. But the connection between HP RoboCop and the local police has not yet been established. Knightscope is currently receiving calls from the "Automatic police officer".
