Extinction Rebellion
Annoyed by the paralysis of several London bridges by hundreds of activists, Boris Johnson ridiculed "recalcitrant crusts" (uncooperative crusties), on the occasion of the launch of a biography of Margaret Thatcher written by his former boss of the Daily Telegraph, the journalist Charles Moore.
"The security did not want me to come tonight because the road was full of old recalcitrant crusts and other protesters of all kinds lying on the ground," the head of state and former journalist joked, according to the Guardian. "I was told that there was a risk of me throwing eggs," he added.
Boris Johnson has also delivered this advice to the activists currently on the streets: "The best thing for the education of these hemp-bivouac dwellers, who today cover Trafalgar Square and Hyde Park, would be to stop their traffic jam. and to buy Charles' wonderful book and learn more about a true feminist, ecologist and revolutionary who has changed the world, "he said, referring to the" Iron Lady ".
In opposition to the father
However, according to some appearances of the father of Boris Johnson in demonstrations and on television sets, there would exist a small family schism surrounding Extinction Rebellion.
Over the last few days, Stanley Johnson has been photographed or interviewed while wearing the Young Climate Change badge.
"Look who's with us in London," for example tweeted the Extinction Rebellion antenna in London's Stratford district. The man also wore the same logo during a television interview in September, according to photos posted on his own Instagram account.

Police on Tuesday (October 8th) evacuated environmental activists from Extinction Rebellion who had settled, particularly with tents, in the district of ministries in central London. "They have cleared some tents, but the mood is optimistic," said one of the protesters at AFP.
In the British capital, cradle of this international movement, Extinction Rebellion hopes to gather 20,000 to 30,000 people over two weeks to take part in blocking actions targeting 12 sites, most of which are located around Westminster, where the places of power are concentrated.
