The Ministry of the Economy has a network of 8 Luxembourg Trade and Investment Offices (LTIO) which provide support to Luxembourg companies wishing to develop their activities abroad and which are responsible for the targeted economic promotion of the Grand -Duche throughout the world. LTIOs are currently established in the United States, South Korea, Japan, China, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Taiwan. The Luxembourg embassies also support the Ministry of the Economy in its efforts to promote the economy.

Luxembourgish students who have obtained their university degree or Master, can benefit from three-month paid internships in the LTIOs of 8 cities (New York, San Francisco, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi, Taipei) and at the New Delhi Embassy.

The aim of this internship program, which the Ministry of Economy proposes for the second consecutive year, is for trainees to become familiar with the daily work of LTIOs in connection with the country's economic promotion strategy. These internships provide an exceptional opportunity for young people to discover an international and multicultural work environment.

Young people interested in such an internship can send their motivated application until Friday 15 November 2019 at the Ministry of the Economy – General Directorate for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (19-21, Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg) Sarah Haunert (Tel .: 247-84109 / E-mail: [email protected]) indicating, if possible, three cities in order of preference.
