Salini Impregilo and Astaldi obtain a contract in Canada

<! – ->Salini Impregilo is Astaldi (members of the Mobilinx consortium together with Canadian partners) were awarded the contract for the civil engineering works of the Hurontario Light Rail Transit (HuLRT) project, worth 917 million euros (about 1.3 billion Canadian dollars) and commissioned from Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx.

Salini Impregilo is a leader in the design, procurement and construction of the system with a 42% stake in the joint-venture for civil engineering works, amounting to € 385 million; Astaldi has a 28% stake, worth 257 million euros.

This is the first contract between Salini Impregilo and Astaldi after the launch of Progetto Italia.
