Olbia airport: fly to Verona all year with Volotea

Olbia, 24 October 2019 – Volotea has confirmed, for the first time even during the winter season, the route departing from Olbia to Verona.

There will be 9,000 seats on this link.

Volotea will operate the winter route twice a week:

• Olbia – Verona: Thursday 11.45am / Sunday 12.15pm
• Verona – Olbia: Thursday 10:00 am / Sunday 10:30 am

During 2019, (January-September), over 268,000 passengers chose Volotea to fly to or from Olbia, an increase of 36% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The carrier has operated more than 2,000 flights to the Costa Smeralda, reaching a load factor of 96% and connecting Olbia with 11 destinations: 8 to Italian destinations – Bari, Genoa, Naples, Palermo, Turin, Venice, Verona and Milan Bergamo – and 3 to French cities – Bordeaux, Nantes and Strasbourg.

Volotea, has been present in Olbia since 2012 and, in September, exceeded its 1 million passengers transported locally. In 2019 the carrier's offer in Olbia was 294,000 seats (+ 32% compared to 2018). Finally, Volotea is the second company in Olbia for the number of connected destinations.
