"No bitterness", Ricardo speaks for the first time since his dismissal

More than seven months after his dismissal, the Brazilian returns for the first time to The Team on his second visit to the Bordeaux bench (the first was between 2005 and 2007) and especially his dismissal. If he does not hide that at the moment, "it's always hard to swallow" and "we had to digest the situation," he says today to have "no bitterness".

A regret but no resentment towards the players

With his experience in the business, Ricardo knew very well that his second term would only last a while despite everything he has a regret: "I would have liked to stay until the end (of his mission)". That is, until the end of the season. But as he says himself, he "lost the thread in December" with his partner Eric Bedouet before the fatal eliminations in the Coupe de France against Le Havre and Coupe de la Ligue against Strasbourg in January.

If he confesses that his state of health (victim of a stroke in 2011, the Brazilian tells some difficulties to express himself and walk) was perhaps "a limit", he does not want more than that to some players with whom it was necessary to manage important extrasports problems.
