ROME – The weather alert makes Spezia-Cremonese jump. The anticipation of the 17th day of Serie B, scheduled for Friday, December 20 at the 'Alberto Picco' stadium at 9 pm, was postponed due to problems of order and public safety. The mayor of La Spezia Peracchini, in fact, has ordered the "prohibition of sporting events, fairs and all kinds of outdoor events for the entire duration of the red alert", that is from 12 noon to 24 tomorrow.The Serie B League also announced the postponement of the race on Friday 20 December. "The President of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti B – reads the note -, given today's ordinance of the Prefecture of La Spezia with which, having taken note of the red alert issued by the Liguria Region with the provision, among other things, of possible significant increases in the water level of all water courses, given the meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, during which, precisely in consideration of the unpredictability of the evolution of meteorological phenomena and of the widespread criticalities and substantial throughout the city even in the following days, the Mayor of La Spezia reported the need for a postponement of the tender in question, in consideration of the respect due to the priorities that characterize the work of the Institutions of the Order and other bodies responsible for territorial security, taking into account Article 28.2 of the LNPB Statute, orders deferral of the Spezia – Cremonese race, valid for the 17th round of the 2019/2020 Serie B Championship, scheduled for tomorrow, Friday 20 December, at another date to be set by the National Professional B League ".
