It is a combustion chamber in which they are present two candles, of which one is placed in one small pre-room centrally located in the main combustion chamber. In the phases in which power is required, the spark strikes inside this pre-chamber, which through the openings distributes the air-fuel mixture which is now lit in the main combustion chamber more uniformly than the propulsion systems without this system.
In the low load phases, such as the starting of the engine, especially when the catalyst temperatures are still low and consequently the device is less efficient and therefore the engine more polluting, the spark is supplied by the spark plug of the main combustion chamber in a delayed so that you can increase the portion of air in the mixture and heat the catalyst faster, thus cutting emissions.
