3.3 Richter earthquake with its epicenter 10 kilometers from the coast
VENICE. An earthquake was felt by seismographs at 12.28 on Friday 25 October.
The epicenter was calculated at about 30 kilometers from Venice, in a stretch of sea about 10 kilometers from Chioggia. Its power was 3.3 on the Richter scale.
The depth of the epicenter was 8 kilometers deep.
According to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology it was a seismic swarm that affected various areas of the Peninsula.
The shock was felt by some people in Chioggia. No damage recorded to people or things.
