The great constructions protagonists at the Trade Fair: there is also the reproduction of the Centro Piacentiniano in Bergamo.
On paper, it looks like a game for children and teenagers, but in reality it is mainly adults who enjoy themselves. We are talking about the constructions made with Lego bricks, great protagonists of the 41st edition of the Campionaria, the Promoberg event with free admission to the Bergamo Fair from Wednesday 30 October (opening hours 15) to Sunday 3 November. Mattoncini in Bergamo is yet another new event of the Campionaria, organized by La Città Del Mattoncino (a shop in Piazzetta Santo Spirito in Bergamo) with the support of Lego Italia and Warner Bross TtGames.
About forty enthusiasts (from 7 to 70 years of age) who filled the central gallery of the exhibition center with set-ups of protagonists of all kinds, employing a total of over 2.5 million bricks. Starting from the Costa Cruises fleet, with the reproduction of the Costa Diadema (scale 1: 100, employing over 124,000 bricks) and, in a world preview,, the 1: 350 scale reproduction of the Costa Smeralda (about 6,000 bricks), the first cruise ship of the Italian company fueled with the most "clean" fossil fuel in the world. But there are so many themes that await the visitors of the Campionaria: from the worlds of cities, to robotic arms, from Star wars to the winter village (which also includes the world "below" enlivened by goblins and gnomes), from the villages, westerns to the super heroes, and then again, Harry Potter, medieval battles, dragons, technic vehicles and tributes to the Indiana Jones films, the Back to the Future trilogy and Dante's Inferno.
Among so much wonder and imagination, a micro (but accurate) reproduction of the Centro Piacentiniano of Bergamo stands out with the profile of the historic center of Citta Alta. To let the little ones play (with parental control), there is also a large play area with numerous workstations and small pools filled with colored bricks to give vent to imagination and happiness. Sample Times: Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 October 15.00 – 22.30; Friday 1 and Saturday 2 November 10.00 – 22.30; Sunday 3 November: 10.00 – 20.00. Parking 3 euros.
