The City of Charleroi has confirmed this morning the project to build a new enclosure for Sporting Charleroi in the Parc Equipe Marchienne.
The Equipped Park will therefore welcome the new Zebras stadium. This enclosure will be installed on the left bank, so facing multiple facilities including the training ground of the other carolo club, the Olympic Charleroi.
A secure car park of 750 places is announced, opened as a load-shedding area during the day. A coach park with 70 seats and a sports center were also confirmed on Tuesday.
Note that everything has been designed to promote soft mobility around the stadium. A bridge will be installed to cross the Sambre. Bike paths and even equestrian routes are planned on the surrounding roads.
A new stage, therefore, for the Sporting de Charleroi.
